Zero-Trust Network Security
Two days in the office and three working remotely, whether that’s at home or in a coffee shop, hybrid working is on the increase and set to stay for 2022 and beyond.
As employees figure out their preferred weekly setup, many businesses are looking to accelerate their plan to adopt and develop a zero-trust security model.
This approach, which has been widely used for over a decade within the cyber-security industry, eliminates trust, so no user or device, even if allowed onto the network (e.g. through an on-site connection), is automatically trusted.
Instead, their identity and access rights need to be verified throughout the network and not just at the perimeter, like in the traditional security model. Therefore, it doesn’t matter where you work, the company’s digital safety is tightly controlled.
