Klick Logistics' supplier platform was being discontinued, so we prototyped its replacement: quoting, dispatch, live job tracking, Courier Exchange and driver management, all working from a single requirements brief — designed in Figma with AI, delivered alongside the quote.

A supplier platform
on borrowed time.
Klick Logistics is a lean, same-day and overnight logistics provider running A2B transport, general haulage and courier work — booked by phone, email and portal, priced against tariffs, and dispatched largely through Courier Exchange. Their operational platform, Smart LM, was being discontinued by its supplier, with no replacement offered.
Klick sent a full requirements brief: tariff-based quoting with live margin calculation, two-way Courier Exchange integration for job posting and bid management, real-time job status synced from the Courier Exchange driver app, automated invoicing with Stripe and Xero, and a customer self-service portal — plus screenshots of their outgoing system so we understood the operational detail behind each requirement.
Nothing about the brief was small. It described a full operations platform, with room built in to become a product other small logistics providers could run on too. We prototyped it as exactly that.

The brief covered quoting, dispatch, Courier Exchange, invoicing, tariffs and a customer portal. The prototype models all of it as one connected operations platform.
Quote to job, in one flow
Tariff-based pricing with live margin and profit calculation, so a quote becomes a booking without re-keying a single field.
Live tracking, not a status field
Every booking carries a real delivery timeline — accepted, en route, loaded, in transit, delivered — with driver, ETA and route detail on one screen.
Courier Exchange, built in
Job posting with the full set of Courier Exchange fields, bid comparison and one-click acceptance, modelled directly against their two-way integration requirement.

The prototype carries a persistent operations shell — dashboard, quotes, bookings, Courier Exchange, invoices, customers, drivers, tariffs, map, reports — with real sample data behind each one, not a handful of disconnected screens.
