How We Built the Plumbing for AI Automation
1. Connecting AI to the Infrastructure via MCP
The workflow begins with raw, Claude-generated static frontend files. To remove the manual handover, we integrated the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This allows the AI environment to interface directly with our repository structures, creating a clean bridge between the generated output and the development environment.
2. A Bespoke Payload Headless CMS
Instead of trying to shoehorn AI outputs into a rigid, legacy system, we provisioned a bespoke Payload Headless CMS backend. By building dynamic section templates via API and JSON, the CMS is designed specifically to ingest and organise the structured data flowing downstream from the AI environment.
3. Automated CI/CD Deployment on AWS
To ensure the deployment process remains entirely frictionless, we established automated CI/CD pipelines bridging Staging to Production across a secure AWS cloud environment. Once the code is cleansed and asset compression is applied, the deployment pipelines push the updates live without manual intervention.
