Web3 Coming to Town
Web3 (also known as Web 3.0) is on the wish list of many around the world. Spotted today on various news outlets, and appearing front and centre in a particularly mouth-watering headline – Investors are betting $27 billion that Web3 is the future of the internet – on fortune.com a couple of weeks ago, it’s definitely something we all want to keep an eye on.
But what is it exactly? In brief, it’s the next version of the internet; one that’s decentralised and built on top of a blockchain. Watch The Economic Times’ video for a more detailed explanation.
