Task
To build an in-house app for Argus software that tracks the IP addresses of site visitors. And then use this information alongside internal and external data sources to add intelligent insights to create sales leads.
Action
There are several 3rd party applications that do a similar job, but we wanted to create an in-house, more cost-effective and efficient tool. We built our own version of the best available and added an internal blacklist tool that filters out irrelevant IP addresses to make information more accurate.
Result
Web ID is now processing millions of records of data, adding extra value, insights, and depth to multiple client campaigns.
